Pray, Believe, Act
As a church family, we want to PRAY, BELIEVE, and ACT in seeking to meet this challenge. We find guidance for this in Ephesians 3:14-21, where Paul prays for the Ephesian church and casts vision for their ministry. These verses remind us to PRAY faithfully. As a people of prayer, we never want to be out of step with God. Prayer nourishes our relationship and fellowship with Him. As we pray, we must BELIEVE in the power of the Holy Spirit at work within us. We pray with expectation! And we must ACT in faithfulness to our calling, never becoming passive. Jesus commands in the Great Commission that we make disciples, and as His followers, we are to accomplish this directive with faithful resolve. Paul reminds us in Ephesians 3:20 that God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”
